Most of my time this year at Regenstrief Institute has been spent as part of the team enhancing Regenstrief's tool RELMA (Regenstrief LOINC Mapping Assistant), which is used for mapping your local medical terminology to the LOINC standard terminology. It seemed appropriate to briefly mention here that a new version of RELMA and its associated LOINC database is now available.
This entry isn't apropos of Perl, except that I use tools I wrote in Perl to help write the VB6 that forms the bulk of RELMA (Template Toolkit, you are great!)
